Agile is a method of project management that is geared towards flexibility, speed and communication. The agile methodology was formalized in 2001 and has since become a standard approach for the development of software and other projects. Agile aims to react quickly to changes and to develop the project iterative and incrementally instead of planning and implementing it from the outset.
